Chief of Defence of Lithuania on visit in Afghanistan 2010-03-16
  March 15, Chief of Defence of Lithuania Maj. Gen. Arvydas Pocius left for Afghanistan to meet with the Lithuanian-led PRT-10, to discuss course of the multinational operation with ISAF representatives, and meet with representatives of provincial administration of Ghowr. Lithuanian CHOD will also deliver to deployed peacekeepers Easter gifts from home.

National Police Training arranged by the EU Police Mission took place in Chaghcharan 2010-03-09
 March 4, finishing ceremony of training for leading officers of Afghan National Police was held in Chaghcharan, capital of Ghowr. The training was organised by representatives of the European Union Police Mission in Afghanistan (EUPOL).

Troops of National Support Element met after mission in Afghanistan 2010-03-02
 March 2, homecoming ceremony of the 2nd shift of National Support Element (NSE-2) after mission in Afghanistan took place at Logistic Command of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. Minister of National Defence Rasa Juknevičienė and Chief of Defence of Lithuania Maj. Gen. Arvydas Pocius, Commander of Logistic Command Ovidijus Eitminavičius, troops and personnel of Logistic Command, relatives of soldiers, and other guests, took place in the event. |

 February 24, State Secretary for European Affairs of France Pierre Lellouche visited Šiauliai Airbase of the Lithuanian Air Force. At the Airbase the guest was received by Commander Lithuanian Air Force Brig. Gen. Artūras Leita and Head of the Airbase Lt. Col. Audronius Navickas.

Lithuanian civilians and military attend to women's issues in Ghowr 2010-02-22
 On February 21 members of Chaghcharan PRT-10 conducted a patrol in Tahar I Temur village where they met with village's senior and members of council as well as delivered assistance for locals. Another goal of the patrol was attention to women's problems in the village. |

Petraeus congratulated Lithuania on the Restoration of Statehood Day, 16th of February, and thanked Lithuania for contribution to joint struggle of NATO states with extremism and support to ISAF in Afghanistan, and NATO Training Mission in Iraq.

Gediminas Macijauskas and Head of the PRT's Civilian Component, Deputy Head of the Lithuanian Special Mission in Afghanistan, Ambassador Linas Linkevičius visited Sangow Bar village of Ghowr were Lithuania had opened small hydroelectric power plant.
Representatives of PRT met with villagers' council, took interest in security situation in surroundings of the village, asked locals about their spending winter, participation in provincial development processes, cooperation between locals and institutions of provincial administration. |
