Naval Flotilla

 

 The main functions of Naval Flotilla are as follows:
  • control, protection and defence of territorial waters and exclusive economic zone of the Republic of Lithuania;
  • assurance of safe navigation;
  • control and protection of approach to Klaipeda harbor;
  • participation in search and rescue operations. 

 

The structure of Naval Flotilla

Flotilla commander is in charge of naval flotilla. He is assisted by Commander's staff. Flotilla staff coordinates activities of all three squadrons: Combat Ship Squadron, MCM Squadron, Patrol Boat Squadron, as well as Harbor Bouts Group.
