CSM (OR-9) Dainius SNARSKIS is a Command Senior Enlisted Leader of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. CSM Snarskis was born on 15 October 1971. He joined  the Lithuanian Armed Forces in 1993 as a second in command of a platoon leader. His first unit was the King Mindaugas Infantry Battalion. Other duty assignments include: Platoon Commander, S3 NCO in the Battalion HQ, Senior Administration Assistant of Multinational Logistic Center in South East in Iraq, Command Sergeant Major of PRT-13 in Afghanistan, Command Sergeant Major in the King Mindaugas Mechanized Infantry Battalion of the Motorized Infantry Brigade “Iron Wolf”, Command Sergeant Major in the Joint HQ of the Lithuanian Armed Forces. CSM Dainius SNARSKIS was deployed to Iraq in 2004 and Afghanistan in 2011.


CSM SNARSKIS’ education includes: training in local and foreign military and civilian training facilities of Lithuania, Belgium, Hungary, Latvia, Netherlands and the USA. He is a graduate of the United States Army Sergeants Major, Class 57. CSM SNARSKIS is graduated from the General Jonas Žemaitis Military Academy of Lithuania with a bachelor degree in Defense and Security Institutions Management.              


CSM SNARSKIS’ awards and decorations include: Ministry of National Defense Medal for Deployment on International Missions; Lithuanian Armed Forces Medal of Merit; Armed Forces level Medal "For Outstanding Service"; the Badge of the “Iron Wolf”.
