The Combat Training Centre (CTC) conduct and support collective training (courses and exercises) of soldiers and units in the complex operational environment of modern battle in accordance with established qualification and training standards IOT prepare qualified personnel and combat ready units. WTC conduct courses on Ranges and Tactical Live Firing Management. The CTC also conducts pre-mission training for military personnel selected for participation in international operations and Environment Protection courses. CPXs are conducted in the Joint Conflict and Tactical Simulation (JCATS) Centre of WTC. General Silvestras Žukauskas Training Area of the Warfare Training Centre provides training facilities, ranges, training grounds, territory and technical equipment (MILES) and I-HITS system required for conduction of exercises of the units of the Lithuanian Armed Forces.
